Does anyone else feel that slow and overly cautious drivers need to be better trained and have more confidence before they should be able to be on the roads?
I think it is these very people who cause much of the road rage we see because we have factored in everything else before we leave home or work but these slow moving, pain in the behind drivers who are less likely to BE in an accident but more likely to CAUSE an acident.
Any takers? |

Not necessarily better trained, but more confidence. And it depends on what kind of road you're driving on. If someone's on a highway or freeway and going 40 km/h, I would be pissed if I were behind them. But if you're in a residential road (which is 50 - 60 km/h here in Victoria) and the person in front is doing 40, I don't think that's anything to get sore about. It is annoying, but I think in that situation it's better to keep your cool and just hang back a bit, wait for them to go wherever they need to go, and be on your way. |
